BLIX has two new experienced consultants
This summer Mark Duppen started as senior project manager at BLIX. Since then he worked as package manager for two offshore wind projects, cooperated in a due diligence for a Belgium developer and leads a MetOcean measurement campaign for the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO). Furthermore we would like to introduce you to Michiel Oosterhaven, a project developer wind energy with more than 15 years’ experience. He joined BLIX as associate. The requests of clients for onshore and offshore expertise are growing. BLIX grows along in our core team and via associates. The knowledge input BLIX is receiving with these two gentlemen, is beneficial not only for BLIX, but also for our clients.

A head start
Mark Duppen previously worked at Vopak as project manager in the oil and gas industry and previously worked as offshore field engineer at Schlumberger. He currently uses his offshore management experience for different wind projects at BLIX. He worked on a due diligence, leads a MetOcean measurement campaign and contributes to the preparation of an offshore wind tender in the Netherlands.
Mark Duppen: “I worked as engineer at oil and gas platforms on the North Sea and in Vietnam. Life offshore is extremely interesting and the sea will always fascinates me. Soon I realised that I prefer working in a sustainable industry. Then I started working for Vopak and developed and constructed vapor recovery systems. Until the chance to work at BLIX came by. Now I can focus on wind projects. Again offshore, but now sustainable."

Onshore project development
Michiel Oosterhaven is an experienced project developer for onshore and offshore wind. He brings complex wind project successfully to realisation. His knowledge and experience reaches from initiation until construction management. Michiel Oosterhaven is a freelancer, but for several project has worked together with BLIX. This was mutually satisfying, so he decided to join BLIX as associate.
